SUMMARY:OFA Level 2 Full-Time (Langley - April 29 - May 3)
DESCRIPTION:April 29 – May 3\, 2024\n8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. \n$675.00 \nPrerequisites\nMust be at least 16 years of age and be physically able to perform all of the First Aid tasks required to complete the learning tasks. No experience is necessary. \nA Statement of Fitness\, as well as acceptable personal identification is required prior to Occupational First Aid Attendant certification. \n  \nCourse Information\nThe WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Level Two course is a 36 hour program and is designed to provide life-saving first aid skills for urban attendants in industry. Initial certification requires full participation and course attendance. Successful candidates must achieve 70% or higher on both practical and written exams. Certification is valid for three years. \nSuccessful candidates under 19 years of age will be issued an age restriction certificate. Restricted ticket holders must work under the supervision of an unrestricted ticket holder. \nCancellation Policy\nParticipants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required for change or cancellation. No-shows will not be eligible for refund.
