DESCRIPTION:Prerequisites\nMust be physically able to perform all of the First Aid tasks required to complete the learning tasks. No experience is necessary. \nCourse Information\nThe WorkSafeBC Basic First Aid course is an 8 hour program\, including coffee and lunch breaks and is designed to provide life-saving first aid skills to workers in industry. Successful candidates must demonstrate competency in practical skills and achieve 70% or higher on a multiple choice exam. Certification is valid for three years. \nCancellation Policy\nParticipants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. DESCRIPTION:*As of August 1 2024\, Occupational First Aid Level 2 has been re-named as Intermediate First Aid\, and has changed from 5 days to only 2 days*\nNovember 18-19\, 2026\n8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. \n$250.00 \nPrerequisites\nMust be physically able to perform all of the First Aid tasks required to complete the learning tasks. No experience is necessary. \nA Statement of Fitness\, as well as acceptable personal identification is required prior to Occupational First Aid Attendant certification. \n  \nCourse Information\nThe WorkSafeBC Intermediate First Aid course is a 14 hour program and is designed to provide life-saving first aid skills for urban attendants in industry. Initial certification requires full participation and course attendance. Successful candidates must achieve 70% or higher on the written exams. Certification is valid for three years. \nSuccessful candidates under 19 years of age will be issued an age restriction certificate. Restricted ticket holders must work under the supervision of an unrestricted ticket holder. \nCancellation Policy\nParticipants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required for change or cancellation. No-shows will not be eligible for refund.

SUMMARY:Red Cross Emergency First Aid Blended (Langley - Saturday)
DESCRIPTION:November 21\, 2026\nSaturday\n8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. \n$110 –  Course certification and manuals will be in electronic format only issued directly from the Canadian Red Cross on course completion. \nPrerequisites\nParticipants need internet access to complete the online theory component.  No previous first aid training is required.  Participants must be physically able to perform the required skills.  Minimum age 12 years. \nCourse Information\nBlended Training consists of online theory ( self study\,  4 hours )\, this must be successfully completed before attending the in person classroom session ( in person 5.5 hours\, breaks included ).  The online training doesn’t have to be completed in one session\, you can exit the program  at the end of each module without losing your place.  When you return you will continue with the next module.   Emergency First Aid Blended offers an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for adults\, children and babies\, and AED training.   Certification is valid for three years. \nAccessing your online training:  Within 48 hours of registration\, the Canadian Red Cross will email instructions and a link to your online training. \nCancellation Policy\nParticipants should arrive 15 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late for the course will not be able to join the class. A minimum of 1 week advance notice is required for change or cancellation.
