Participants will learn about the equipment and options available to ensure they are adequately protected when exposed to a potential fall hazard\, including the importance of preplanning for rescues from height.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTraining Objectives\n\nUpon successful completion of this training program\, workers will have a thorough understanding of the WorkSafeBC legal requirements when exposed to a fall hazard. In addition\, participants will learn how to properly select\, inspect and use / donn the equipment which is typically used in a Personal Fall Protection System (PFPS). The training will include a practical demonstration of a variety of anchors\, harnesses and connecting components such as energy absorbing and self-retracting lanyards.
